Dematic, part of the KION Group, seeks a System Integration Engineer to drive design integrity and risk management across projects. The role is remotely based with travel to customer sites in Spain, focusing on ensuring requirements are met and acceptance testing is robust.

You will collaborate across SD, Sales, and Customer Service teams to deliver integrated automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in a relevant field and 4+ years in engineering or technical leadership

Formación

• Master’s degree in Industrial plant, Mechatronic, or Mathematics.
• 4+ years in development or technical management, preferably in automated logistics.
• Experience as a Software engineer in warehouse management systems is a plus.
• 4+ years in engineering with material handling industry exposure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to create technical documentation and work with customer-facing roles.
• Collaborative, regionally distributed teams experience beneficial.
• Willingness to travel domestically 50–60% and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Be the 'voice of Engineering' to optimize pre-sale automation solutions.
• Provide technical advice, review simulation outputs, and align with SD and Sales.
• Generate System Specifications for customer approval and understanding.
• Define and lead the integration strategy across all project phases.
• Ensure System and Software Specifications, acceptance tests, and deliverables align with contract.
• In collaboration with Test Manager, lead site-wide testing and document strategies and results.
• Produce system availability weightings and oversee FEM availability method calculations.
