We are looking for an experienced Principal Senior SW Developer to join our Software Development team in Vigo, Spain. In this role, you will act as a key technical reference across our software development teams, helping shape the way we design, develop, test, and deliver software. You will work closely with developers and technical teams to improve software architecture, promote engineering best practices, reduce technical complexity, and explore innovative ways to increase productivity through AI-assisted software development.

8+ years of professional experience in software development, including experience in senior engineering or technical leadership roles.
Strong experience designing and developing production-ready software systems, with a solid understanding of software architecture, system design, design patterns, and clean-code principles.
Experience with modern software architectures, APIs, backend services, and distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of software quality practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
Experience identifying and managing technical debt, improving maintainability, and establishing engineering standards and best practices.
Proven ability to influence technical decisions, collaborate across multiple teams, and mentor other developers.
Excellent problem-solving skills, a pragmatic mindset, and the ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools to improve productivity, code quality, or engineering workflows.
