Applus IDIADA is seeking experienced full-stack software engineers to design and deliver AI-enabled enterprise applications for automotive testing and mobility services.

You will work across the stack from robust backend services to modern UIs, integrating AI capabilities into production-grade systems within a cloud-native environment.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java and/or Python in enterprise apps.
• Deep understanding of Spring framework and Hibernate ORM.
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and RESTful APIs.
• Cloud and containerization experience (AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

What are we looking for?

Experienced full-stack software engineers to design and deliver AI-enabled enterprise applications.

We seek talented developers capable of working across the entire technology stack, from robust backend services to modern user interfaces, while integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities into production-grade systems.

Key technical requirements:

• Develop backend services using Java/Spring Boot and Python, implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
• Design and implement data access layers with Hibernate ORM and optimize queries for PostgreSQL and SQL Server
• Build responsive, modern frontends with Angular
• Integrate AI/ML services from AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker) and third-party providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini)
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes (EKS/GKE)
• Deploy and maintain applications across AWS and GCP cloud environments
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and software design patterns
• Proven ability to deliver full-stack solutions from conception through production deployment
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
• Commitment to code quality, testing practices and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Experience & Expertise

• 6+ years of professional software development with strong expertise in Java and/or Python
• Proven track record delivering production-grade enterprise applications from design to deployment
• Deep knowledge of Spring framework (Core, Boot, MVC, Data, Security) and Hibernate ORM
• Strong command of SQL and relational database design (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) and modern DevOps practices
• Bonus: Experience integrating AI/ML services (AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenAI APIs) or working with Angular for full-stack development

Technical Foundation

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns
• Strong debugging, profiling and performance optimization skills
• Experience writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests
• Version control expertise with Git and collaborative development workflows
