Nextpower, a leader in solar energy solutions, seeks an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to audit manufacturers of inverters, PCBA, power electronics, motors and PV modules, and drive corrective actions through 8D and 5-Why methods.

You will lead PPAP, monitor supplier performance with scorecards, support DFМ reviews with design for manufacturability, and collaborate with R&D and production to improve quality, yields, and costs. Fluent English and Spanish required.

Formación

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical/electronics engineering
• Six Sigma Green Belt certified
• Proficient in quality tools: 8D, 5 Why, SPC, Pareto, RCA
• Certified QMS/IATF/VDA lead auditor or equivalent
• Strong planning and process improvement mindset
• Good command of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English and Spanish (C1/C2)

Responsabilidades

• Assesses potential suppliers for quality and quality system capabilities through audits.
• Conduct process audits and drive closure of open issues with effective corrective actions.
• Lead 8D and 5-Why investigations to resolve supplier non-conformities and implement CAPA.
• Monitor supplier performance via scorecards and drive corrective actions to improve yields and field reliability.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing for design-for-manufacturability (DFM) reviews and continuous improvement.
• Notify suppliers of customer complaints and conduct on-site root-cause investigations.
• Ensure PPAP readiness and no open points before production.
• Employ Six Sigma methodologies to achieve quality and cost improvements.
