Arup in Madrid is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead technical delivery on iconic building projects, mentor growing engineers, and drive innovation across BIM and digital tools.

You will collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team, manage design from concept to completion, and contribute to bids while delivering sustainable, resilient structures across Spain.

Formación

• 6–8 years of experience as a structural designer on significant building projects with proven team leadership or mentoring skills.
• Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Structural Engineering preferred) and Chartered status with a relevant institution.
• Proficiency in advanced structural analysis programs.
• Experience with BIM methodologies (Revit) and parametric design tools (Rhino/Grasshopper); programming (Python) and AI skills are advantageous.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.

As a Senior Structural Engineer at Arup, you will:

We're looking for an engineer who is passionate about creating elegant, sustainable structural solutions and leading teams to deliver excellence. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:

6-8 years of experience as a structural designer on significant building projects, with proven team leadership or mentoring skills.

A degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Structural Engineering preferred) and Chartered status with a relevant institution.

Proficiency in the use of advanced structural analysis programs.

Expertise in BIM methodology (Revit) and parametric design tools (Rhino/Grasshopper), with programming(Python)and AIskillsbeing a significant advantage.

Fluency in bothSpanish and Englishis essential.
