YOUR IMPACT

As a Senior/Staff QA Engineer, you will be a driving force behind the quality, reliability, and customer trust of our SaaS platform. You will shape how we think about quality across the entire development lifecycle - embedding testing strategies early, strengthening automation, and ensuring that quality metrics reflect customer experience. Your impact will extend beyond individual test suites, influencing processes, teams, and long-term product stability.

Here’s how you will contribute to our team:

  • Quality as a Shared Responsibility. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and design teams to embed quality thinking from discovery through delivery. By participating early in feature discussions and technical designs, you help prevent issues before they reach production and ensure testability is built in from day one.
  • Strong Automation Foundations. You will build and maintain automated tests across API, contract, end-to-end, and performance layers, with a focus on meaningful coverage, maintainability, and rapid feedback. Your work will help teams move quickly without compromising stability or reliability under load.
  • End-to-End Customer Confidence. You will take ownership of the quality of critical user journeys, ensuring that real-world scenarios are covered across services, integrations, and environments. Your approach will reduce regressions, increase release confidence, and directly improve customer experience.
  • Defining Testing Strategy & Standards. You will help define testing strategies, quality standards, and best practices across teams. By documenting approaches and aligning on quality principles, you ensure consistency while allowing teams the flexibility to move fast.
  • Metrics That Matter. You will identify and evolve quality metrics that go beyond “test counts,” focusing on actionable signals such as defect trends, release risk, flaky tests, and customer-impacting issues. Your insights will guide prioritization and continuous improvement.
  • Growing Quality Culture. You will mentor engineers and QA peers, review test implementations when it matters most, actively participate in our QA community of practice, and share practical examples that raise the overall quality bar. Through coaching, pairing, and constructive feedback, you help teams become more self-sufficient and quality-aware.
THIS IS YOU
  • Significant experience in test automation for web applications, and a strong understanding of modern software development processes. You care about quality across all aspects, and your expertise is guiding the team to succeed.
  • Strong expertise in modern automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Cypress. You have hands-on experience with Typescript and Node.js, and are willing to learn more.
  • You have a deep understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, end-to-end, contract) and have developed testing strategies for complex systems and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integrations. You know how to design quality checks that deliver fast, reliable feedback and help teams make informed release decisions without creating bottlenecks in pipelines.
  • A "Best tool for the job" mentality. You are not a zealot and know that having a hammer does not make everything a nail. You are not afraid to try something new and know how to build consensus and knowledge in the team for new tech and concepts.
  • Excellent English communication skills. You work effectively with people from different backgrounds, both technical and non-technical. You are comfortable defending your ideas and challenging others.
  • Working with a remote team is not new to you and is part of your way of working.
