DKB Code Factory GmbH is seeking a QA Engineer to champion quality across the delivery process. You will shape testing practices, drive automation, and ensure reliable software delivery. You’ll work with developers, product stakeholders, and fellow engineers to embed quality at every stage of development.

You will own testing approaches, analyze defects, and share metrics to inform releases, while supporting Continuous Testing and Delivery within an agile setup.

Formación

• Experience in software quality assurance and test automation for web apps.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, risk-based testing and design techniques.
• Hands-on with web test automation frameworks such as Playwright.

Responsabilidades

• Own and continuously improve the team's testing approach for web apps.
• Collaborate with developers, UX and product stakeholders to identify risks and clarify requirements.
• Analyze failures, support root-cause analysis and drive quality improvements.
• Share testing insights and quality metrics to support release decisions.
• Contribute to Continuous Testing and Delivery practices to balance quality and speed.

As a QA Engineer, you'll be the quality advocate within your team, helping shape testing practices, drive automation efforts, and ensure that reliable software is delivered with confidence. You'll work closely with developers, product stakeholders, and fellow engineers to build quality into every stage of the delivery process.

• Own and continuously improve the team's testing approach for our web applications, becoming the go-to person for testing topics in an agile environment.
• Collaborate closely wit h developers, UX, and product stakeholders to i dentify risks, clarify requirements, and prevent defects early in the development lifecycle.
• Analyze test failures and defects, support root-cause analysis, and identify recurring quality issues and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Share regular testing insights, results, and quality metrics with stakeholders, supporting informed release decisions.
• Contribute to Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery practices, helping the team improve quality while maintaining delivery speed.

{ following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [

• Experience in software quality assurance and test automation for web applications, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and risk-based testing.
• Hands-on experience with web test automation frameworks such as Playwright, including different testing levels and approaches such as component , integration, visual regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: Playwright, Cypress, accessibility testing, React or Angular, Jira Xray, GitLab CI.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to communicate effectively in cross-functional environments.
• Fluency in English.
