ICEYE is seeking a Staff Structural Analysis Engineer in Valencia to lead structural analysis for space systems. You will drive requirements, support design reviews, and ensure qualification from concept to flight readiness in a hybrid on-site role.

The role demands a Master’s in structural/aerospace engineering, extensive FEA experience, and collaboration across systems, electrical, and manufacturing teams to meet launch and on-orbit environments.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading and managing structural analysis.
• Experience designing satellite structures, subsystems, or complex electromechanical systems.
• Deep understanding of mechanical stress, vibration, and thermal effects on space structures.
• Strong expertise in finite element analysis, including structural dynamics and failure analysis.
• Experience with mechanical, hybrid, and bonded joints for load-carrying composite structures.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards such as ECSS, NASA, or MIL.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with systems, electrical, and manufacturing teams.

Responsabilidades

• Define structural requirements from mission and launcher constraints down to system and subsystem levels.
• Lead and contribute to trade studies, design reviews, and verification and qualification documentation.
• Ensure smooth and timely product delivery from concept through qualification.
• Drive continuous improvement of structural design and analysis methods.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, AIT, and quality teams to ensure compliance with launch and in-orbit environments.
• Work with system and subsystem engineers to define requirements for new products.
• Support integration, validation, and issue resolution across internal and external teams.
