Job summary

DHV Technology, based in Málaga, Spain, is building the future of space power systems. We seek a Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical structures for satellite solar panels and power subsystems, from concept to qualification, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across international projects.

You will drive 3D CAD design, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation, while coordinating with FEM, electronics, systems, and AIT teams. English proficiency required; relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of mechanical design experience.
• Experience creating complex assemblies and documentation.
• Experience from conceptual design through qualification.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar.
• English proficiency (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical structures, mechanisms, and assemblies for space applications.
• Develop 3D CAD models and prepare manufacturing documentation.
• Define materials, surface treatments, and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with FEM, Electronics, Systems, and AIT teams.
• Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications.
• Support hardware qualification and environmental testing.
• Participate in PDR/CDR and design reviews.
• Provide manufacturing support during integration and testing.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
