Job summary

Celeres is seeking a Junior Engineer for Ground Segment Development to join our team and contribute to high-fidelity spacecraft simulations for a European project.

You will develop and test simulation models in C++, integrate subsystems into the SIMULUS framework, and work with UMF and Eclipse to configure model interfaces under ECSS SMP standards. This is a hands-on, space-focused role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ for object-oriented simulation development.
• Familiarity with simulation modelling concepts and workflows.
• Ability to work with model integration and testing in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build and debug object-oriented simulation models in C++, following SMP2 / ECSS-E-ST-40-07 standards.
• Integrate spacecraft subsystem models into the SIMULUS framework and configure components.
• Utilise modelling tools like UMF and Eclipse to generate interfaces and parameter configurations.
• Create and execute unit tests and scenarios to validate model behavior and system logic.
