Job summary
DO & CO is seeking a Senior Sous Chef for its VIP lounges at Madrid-Barajas Airport. You will lead the kitchen team, oversee service readiness, and ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation in a premium, international environment.
The role requires more than 5 years in premium hospitality, C1 English, and strong leadership. You will train staff, optimize workflows, ensure HACCP compliance, and contribute to a luxury guest experience in our VIP airport lounges.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience in premium hospitality or premium food service.
- Strong leadership, organization and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the team, organizing tasks, priorities and workflow during service.
- Plan and supervise food preparation, ensuring DO&CO standards of quality, presentation and service are consistently met.
- Manage product requirements, optimizing the use of raw materials and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP standards, hygiene, food safety, order and cleanliness requirements.
- Anticipate operational needs and resolve issues, making autonomous decisions to ensure service continuity and quality.
