Keyfactor is seeking a Senior Software QA Analyst in Barcelona. You will own the quality strategy for Redtrust, define risk-based test plans, and collaborate across teams to ensure quality from the start.

Your responsibilities include managing test documentation and metrics, transitioning manual regression to automation, and mentoring junior engineers. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA engineering and possess strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering or QA analysis.
• Solid test-automation literacy and ability to prioritize automation backlog.
• Experience with risk-based test strategy and large test suites.

As Senior Software QA Analyst, you own the quality strategy for Redtrust within Keyfactor. You define risk-based test plans, drive automation-first testing, and coordinate Product, Development, and QA to design quality in early. You lead with test strategy, guide coverage decisions, and partner with automation engineers to modernize testing practices. You will help scale the platform's signing and authentication features and reveal quality risks to leadership. This role combines hands‑on leadership with cross‑functional influence in a fast‑moving security‑focused environment.

• Design and own a risk-based test strategy across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Lead transition from manual regression to automation‑first, prioritizing automation backlog with automation engineers.
• Create and maintain test plans and cases ensuring risk‑appropriate coverage for major features.
• Identify and track defects, collaborating with Development on resolution and maintaining triage discipline.
• Participate in product design reviews to surface quality risks early (shift‑left).
• Coordinate testing requirements across Product, Development, and QA and define layer responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Development to define and grow unit‑test coverage and test boundaries.
• Maintain test documentation, quality metrics, and reporting; communicate progress to engineering leadership.
• Drive continuous QA improvements, including automation strategies and preventing regression scope bloat.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share QA best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering or QA analysis
• Experience with risk-based test strategy and prioritization of large test suites
