Wazuh is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Indexer team, focusing on design, development and maintenance of Indexer plugins, configurations and packages. You will drive features from concept to shipping, collaborating with a product designer, and contribute to community discussions around Wazuh deployment and configuration.

Required skills include Java, Web API design, Java concurrency, Git/GitHub, and knowledge of Docker, VirtualBox, OpenSearch, and Lucene.

Formación

• Proficient with Java programming language.
• Proficient with Web API design and JSON formats.
• Proficient with Java concurrency frameworks.
• Proficient with Git and GitHub.
• Knowledge about Linux containers and virtualization systems (Docker, VirtualBox).
• Knowledge about OpenSearch and/or Lucene.
• Knowledge about the Wazuh SIEM/XDR platform.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain Wazuh Indexer plugins, configurations and packages.
• Ship substantial features from concept to release as a sole programmer alongside a product designer.
• Provide actionable feedback and documentation to the engineering team.
• Diagnose production issues across multiple systems and triage effectively.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate Wazuh components and external products.
