Infinni in Almería, Spain, seeks a Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java) to help power our global CRM-style platform. You will build reliable microservices with Spring, design robust backend architectures, and own critical components end-to-end.

• 5+ years of backend software development experience with Java and distributed systems.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to help build and scale the backend systems powering our global products and platforms. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about building reliable, high-performance systems, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and take pride in delivering high-quality software throughout the full product lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities

• Build high-quality, maintainable, and production-ready software using Java and the Spring ecosystem
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and resource utilization
• Improve system observability through monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting
• Identify technical debt and continuously improve system quality and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and other engineering teams
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to deployment and production operations

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, specializing in Java and distributed systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with solid expertise in object-oriented design, clean code, and maintainable system architecture
• Extensive experience building and operating microservices using the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, networking, and operating systems
• Extensive experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Strong expertise in SQL optimization, indexing strategies, schema design, query tuning, and database scalability
• Hands-on experience with event-driven and asynchronous architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiar with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure automation, and production monitoring
• Experience delivering complex production systems throughout the full software development lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment and ongoing operation
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, or Electron
• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools
