Overview

Senior Software Engineer - Finance Domain at Factorial. Fully remote, multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Work as a senior engineer in the Finance Domain, contributing to requirements definition with the PM and delivering polished solutions that match those requirements.
• Take ownership of big initiatives, establish goals, and plan a quarterly roadmap with the team.
• Participate in customer calls to learn pains and needs, review code daily, and receive feedback on pull requests from all team members including juniors.
• Mentor junior team members and help them learn from your experience; learn from the team across technical topics and core skills.
• Work with the team to ensure coding quality, performance, and architecture improvements within the Finance Domain.

Qualifications

• Experience as a software engineer with a couple of years in the field.
• Backend experience with Ruby on Rails; frontend experience with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Polyglot developer with experience in multiple coding languages, CI/CD tools, and cloud technologies is valued.
• Strong communication in English and ability to work in a distributed, remote environment.

Salary and Career Path

For this senior-level position, the annual gross salary is 60,000€ (base salary 51,000€ and variable pay up to 9,000€ annually, paid quarterly), depending on company goals.
