GitHub is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Code Scanning Engine Quality team. You will contribute to production operations for CodeQL powered analysis and help build internal tooling and CI pipelines for scale.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to improve reliability, security and user experience across the code scanning product. This role offers remote work from Spain with strong autonomy and impact.

Formación

• 6+ years experience in Software Engineering with production software delivery in multiple languages (C, C++, C#, Java, JS/TS, Go, Ruby, Rust, Python).
• OR various degree paths with 4+ years (or 2+ with Master's) of relevant software experience.
• 3+ years in areas like security/DevOps/CI, developer tooling, or ML/AI applied to code.
• Experience building developer tools for CI, release automation, offline evaluation, CLI tools, or IDE extensions.

Responsabilidades

• Production Operations: own CodeQL‑powered analysis across GitHub.com and GHES; manage artifacts and deployed services.
• Development Platforms: build internal tooling and CI pipelines to validate changes at scale.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve code scanning quality, reliability and UX.
