Back Market is seeking a Senior I Engineer to join the Code Foundation team, working across the tech stack to modernize a distributed platform and deliver high-quality software.

You will collaborate with squads, own parts of the system, and contribute to design decisions, testing, and documentation while maintaining a strong focus on performance and reliability.

Hybrid work with 3 days in the office and 2 remote days each week supports balance while driving impact globally.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with backend tech (Python/Go) is a plus.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI).
• Ability to deliver tests, documentation and well-described PRs.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with squad and Staff engineer to shape technical direction.
• Contribute to architecture improvements for quarter-bounded projects.
• Explore new technologies with potential impact for the team.
• Participate in chaos mitigation and reliability improvements.
• Deliver high quality code with tests and documentation.
