CHAMP Cargosystems, con sede en Barcelona, busca un/a ingeniero/a de software con experiencia para desarrollar funciones impulsadas por IA y servicios ML listos para producción. Trabajarás en APIs escalables y en la integración de modelos en sistemas existentes.

El candidato ideal posee 5+ años en desarrollo de software, dominio de Python o Java y experiencia con Docker/OpenShift, así como conocimiento de APIs y arquitectura de software.

Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia profesional en desarrollo de software.
• Diplomado/bachiller en CS, ingeniería o equivalente.
• Es obligatorio presentar certificado de antecedentes vigente (no mayor a 3 meses).

Responsabilidades

• Colaborar con gerentes de proyecto, propietarios de producto y equipos de ingeniería.
• Desarrollar y mantener características impulsadas por IA.
• Traducir requisitos de negocio en soluciones técnicas escalables.
• Integrar modelos ML, sistemas de recomendación y analítica predictiva.
• Construir y mantener APIs que expongan funcionalidades de IA.
• Asegurar rendimiento, seguridad, escalabilidad y mantenibilidad.
• Participar en decisiones arquitectónicas y mantener los estándares de codificación.
• Revisar código y guiar a desarrolladores juniors.

Join CHAMP’s Innovation & Insights team and help shape our AI Hub, where agentic AI and RAG-powered automation solve real-world air cargo challenges. Design and deliver intelligent products, integrate AI/ML into production systems, and build scalable APIs powering industry-leading platforms like Cargospot Neo. Work with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, Docker, OpenShift, GitLab CI, and Agile teams to create solutions used across the global air cargo industry.

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, business analysts, technical support, and engineering teams
• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered features
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Integrate machine learning models, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics
• Build and maintain APIs exposing AI functionality
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
• Participate in architectural decisions and enforce coding standards
• Review code and mentor junior developers

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong proficiency in Python or Java
• Experience in Angular is a plus
• Hands‑on experience implementing AI/ML solutions
• Strong understanding of software architecture and APIs
• Experience with Docker and OpenShift
• Knowledge of the Air Cargo industry is a major advantage

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• The selected candidate may be subject to the provision of an up-to-date (not older than 3 months) criminal record certificate.
