Ingram Micro seeks a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, test, and implement operating systems components and tools. The role requires independent contribution, leadership across projects, and deep expertise in systems software.

The candidate should have a four-year degree or equivalent experience with at least five years of relevant work, including three years in a related area. Strong problem-solving and policy-generation skills are needed.

Job Description:

Position Summary:

Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools, and utilities. Determines systems software design requirements. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
