Envista Holdings Corporation, via Ormco, seeks a Software Development Manager to lead the Spark R&D digital orthodontic software suite. You will manage a team, prioritize work, and help ship the medical CAD product while shaping the roadmap with product leadership.

You’ll provide technical guidance, own the development process, and collaborate with product, UX and architecture teams to deliver optimal solutions.

Formación

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
5+ years of engineering experience in developing software solutions.
3+ years leading software teams.
Preferred: experience with 3D CAD applications, medical applications, knowledge of computation geometry algorithms.
Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language - C++ or Java.
Experience in development of complex desktop applications and modern web applications.
Familiarity with the micro-service architecture and AWS is a plus.
Solid experience implementing Agile processes like Scrum within the team.

Responsabilidades

Manage a team and help to prioritize, build, and ship the medical CAD manufacturing product.
As a member of the product leadership, participate in making of the roadmap that reflects priorities in the different areas.
Provide technical guidance to the team.
Own the team development process, ensure it adheres to Spark agile development standards.
Work on problem solving with your team, advocate for engineering-specific roadmap items.
Work with product team, UX team, architecture team, and other parties to discover the best solutions for the product.
