Okta is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Europe-based SRE team. You will design and build Go-based software to enhance platform reliability, resiliency, and scalability.

You will partner with engineering to embed reliability, improve observability, and automate operations across a 24/7 cloud environment. You will participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations with shifts aligned to your local hours, and contribute to tooling, automation, and best-practice documentation.

Formación

• Proven experience in a production environment supporting large-scale, mission-critical applications.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Go, for writing custom applications.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Familiarity with GitOps (ArgoCD) and major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Understanding of SRE concepts: SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Experience in 24/7 on-call rotations in a cloud-based environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build Go-based software to improve platform reliability and redundancy.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed reliability principles and improve performance, observability, and availability.
• Develop and refine SRE tooling and automation for operational efficiency.
• Participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation with shifts aligned to local working hours.
• Define and document reliability best practices across the organization.
