Axpo Group is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and safeguard scalable IT systems in a hybrid cloud setup in Madrid. You will collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployment, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring across Azure and on‑prem resources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience on medium to large IT infrastructure projects with Azure Cloud.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS).
• Strong expertise configuring Azure services with Terraform and cloud-native/hybrid networking (VPN, Cloudflare).
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps or GitHub) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Solid grounding in SRE, observability, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenTelemetry).
• Advanced English (C1); good Spanish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Proactively improve the services we provide while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
• Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and highly available infrastructure and services, leveraging our internal products.
• Provide feedback and contribute to enhancing our internal products.
• Guide and support developers with application deployment, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning for optimal resource utilization.
• Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
