Ambit Iberia is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join its global CISOC team, focusing on security monitoring, detection engineering, and SIEM/XDR enhancements. You will design and optimize use cases, build automation, and collaborate with Detection and Incident Response teams to improve threat detection and remediation.

• Must have proven experience in developing security use cases for SIEM/XDR platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel/Defender).
• Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
• Experience integrating APIs and automating security workflows.
• Knowledge of threat remediation, change management, analysis, and triage processes.
• Experience with security reporting or ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in international and multicultural environments.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement security use cases for SIEM/XDR platforms.
• Fine-tune existing use cases to reduce false positives and improve detection quality.
• Create and maintain scripts and API integrations to automate monitoring.
• Support BAS scenarios to test and improve detection use cases.
• Contribute to monitoring technology evolution per the roadmap.
• Collaborate with Detection and IR teams to strengthen capabilities.
• Generate monitoring reports, dashboards, and status updates.
• Maintain documentation aligned with security processes and SOPs.
• Present monitoring insights to technical stakeholders and management.
