SIG is seeking a Senior Expert Service Automation to ensure reliable, safe operation of SIG filling lines at customer sites. You will diagnose and resolve complex automation issues, perform on-site commissioning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Travel is extensive, including international, with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. We require a degree in industrial automation or related field, 3+ years of experience, and strong PLC/SCADA skills.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics or related field.
• 3+ years in industrial automation, ideally field service or technical service.
• Strong experience with Siemens S7 PLCs, Schneider PLCs and Zenon SCADA.
• Knowledge of HMI, Profibus, Industrial Ethernet, VFDs, servo motors and instrumentation.
• Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics and program industrial machinery software.
• Fluent English and local language skills; willingness to travel >75% including international.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and resolve automation, instrumentation and industrial electronics issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot control systems using Siemens S7, Schneider PLCs and Zenon SCADA.
• On-site commissioning and validation of software changes.
• Integrate peripheral equipment, sensors, actuators and industrial communications.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment availability.
• Prepare and update technical documentation and software backups.
