SIG Combibloc Group Ltd seeks a skilled Field Service Engineer to install, commission, calibrate and support industrial filling lines at customer sites. You will perform FAT/SAT, diagnose complex issues, and lead service interventions across international projects.

Requires 2–4 years of technical training or an associate degree, strong troubleshooting across mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems, and excellent English. Travel is frequent; some home-office arrangement is possible.

• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automation systems.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and make sound technical decisions within established procedures.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail in reports and service records.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission, calibrate and parameterize industrial machinery and filling line equipment at customer sites.
• Perform FAT and SAT and document activities.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automation-related issues.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to company procedures and identify root causes of recurring failures.
• Provide advanced technical support on-site and remotely, including troubleshooting through digital connectivity tools.
• Act as the technical lead during complex service interventions and coordinate field technicians or subcontractors on international projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Service Managers, Back Office, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve customer issues.
• Conduct technical audits at customer sites and identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
• Provide expert technical advice and training on equipment operation, maintenance and safety.
• Prepare accurate technical reports, checklists and service documentation.
• Share field experience with Engineering and other teams to support continuous improvement and innovation.
• Follow SIG's environmental guidelines and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Be prepared for frequent international travel and work independently in demanding environments.
