Emburse is seeking a Senior Security Engineer in Barcelona to reinforce our security posture across IAM, cloud, and application security. You will lead incident response, triage threats, and drive secure DevSecOps with a focus on proactive protection and rapid remediation.

You’ll collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security into the software lifecycle, conduct forensics, and maintain essential security metrics for leadership visibility.

Formación

• Experience in a senior security role with leadership and mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
• In-depth experience with SIEM, IDS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Cloud security concepts across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Incident response and forensics incl. log analysis and threat hunting.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST and PCI DSS frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Manage security tools and systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
• Monitor and triage security events, alerts and logs for threats.
• Lead incident response: containment, eradication, recovery, documentation.
• Investigate incidents, determine root cause, and propose remediation.
• Develop and run incident response playbooks and SOPs.
• Coordinate bug bounty submissions, code scans, and vulnerability findings.
• Embed shift-left security in the software development lifecycle.
• Develop security metrics and leadership dashboards.
