Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant sea freight experience.
• High/secondary education is required.
• Knowledge of end-to-end shipment management and documentary procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end customer experience in sea freight shipments.
• Determine efficient and cost-effective transport methods for customer needs.
• Calculate weight, volume, or cost of goods to be moved.
• Arrange packing considering climate, terrain, weight and costs.
• Select routes based on goods, transit times or security needs.
• Identify and select suitable sea freight carriers and negotiate terms.
• Ensure reliable transit times and maintain client communication.
• Maintain real-time status updates using geo-localisation technology.
• Handle shipping documents and customs procedures.
• Oversee payments, insurance documentation, and related transactions.
