Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned SCADA Expert – Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead on-site commissioning for HVDC projects, coordinating test activities and engaging with customers. You will apply AC substation protection expertise and expand HVDC control knowledge while working with an international team.

The role requires at least five years of HVDC/SCADA experience, strong communication skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with power systems focus.
• Experience in SCADA testing and IED testing is required.
• Substation secondary circuits design and protection relays programming experience is preferred.
• AC substation commissioning experience; HVDC experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Modbus, IEC 61850, IEC 104, and DNP3.0 protocols.
• Experience with MicroSCADA and MACH is advantageous.
• Fluent English writes and speaks well; strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities following standards and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Organize and execute testing and commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Lead technical discussions with clients and consultants.
• Prepare commissioning test plans and drive customer discussions.
• Witness FATs and supervise SCADA system commissioning.
• Participate in Factory System Testing (FST).
• Ensure scope, work division and delivery meet contractual commitments.
• Communicate changes to the Commissioning Manager.
• Support tender activities related to commissioning scope.
• Analyze system disturbances during commissioning and operation.
