Cigna in Spain is seeking a Salesforce Senior Developer to join the Technology team supporting Cigna Healthcare’s business in Spain. You will design and deliver secure, scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with user needs and business priorities.

This hands-on role covers platform configuration, automation, custom development and integrations, balancing declarative solutions with code. You will work with stakeholders, architects and delivery teams, and contribute to the Salesforce community

Qualifications

• Over four years of hands-on Salesforce development in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, ideally with Sales Cloud.
• Hands-on development with Apex, triggers and trigger frameworks.
• Experience building Lightning Web Components and using Salesforce Flow.
• Proficiency with SOQL and Salesforce data management capabilities.
• Solid Salesforce administration knowledge: users, roles, profiles, permissions, sharing and security.

Salesforce Senior Developer

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Salesforce Senior Developer with solid Salesforce administration knowledge to join our Technology team supporting Cigna Healthcare's business in Spain. You will help maximise the value of the Salesforce platform by designing and delivering secure, scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with user needs, business priorities and growth objectives.

This is a hands-on development role with real ownership. You will work across platform configuration, automation, custom development and integrations, making informed decisions about when to use standard Salesforce capabilities, Flow or custom code.

You will work closely with Business stakeholders, architects, administrators and multidisciplinary delivery teams, while also contributing to Cigna's broader Salesforce community.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test and deploy Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud and Sales Cloud .
• Build and maintain solutions using Apex, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow and platform configuration .
• Analyse business needs and translate them into pragmatic, secure and maintainable technical solutions.
• Determine the appropriate balance between platform configuration, declarative automation and custom development.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce administrative components, including users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules and access controls.
• Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST APIs and web services .
• Investigate complex issues across configuration, automation, integrations and custom development, identify root causes and implement reliable, sustainable solutions.
• Contribute to technical designs, feasibility assessments and solution documentation.
• Support the estimation, planning and delivery of projects, business-as-usual enhancements and production fixes.
• Manage changes through source control, testing and controlled release processes.
• Maintain high standards of system security, data integrity, reliability, performance and code quality.
• Support data management, data quality, reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Participate in peer reviews and promote Salesforce engineering standards, development best practices and reusable solutions.
• Collaborate with Cigna's Architecture and Salesforce teams on solution design and technical decisions.
• Work autonomously on assigned deliverables while collaborating effectively within Agile and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to less-experienced Salesforce developers and administrators.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and modernisation of the Salesforce platform.

• At least four years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
