AVEVA is seeking a Senior Consultant in Madrid to implement and optimize real-time closed-loop APR/ROMeo solutions for ethylene cracker plants. You will develop rigorous process models, validate data, and drive economic optimization while working closely with Operations and Engineering teams.

The role requires chemical engineering expertise and hands-on APO/ROMeo experience, with a strong ability to translate complex process data into actionable improvements and robust operating strategies.

Formación

• ChemE or equivalent process engineering degree required.
• Strong experience in ethylene/steam cracker process engineering, simulation or optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AVEVA Process Optimization (APO/ROMeo) or equivalent rigorous RTO tech.
• Experience with steady-state process simulation, data reconciliation, parameter estimation and nonlinear optimization.
• Understanding of APC/RTO integration and Closed Loop optimization architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, commission, and maintain APO RTO Closed Loop apps for ethylene/steam cracker plants.
• Develop and maintain accurate process models of ethylene cracker complexes and auxiliary systems.
• Configure online model execution, data validation, parameter estimation, and plant-model integration.
• Develop economic optimization cases considering feed costs, product values, and energy efficiency.
• Support site commissioning, performance testing and handover of RTO apps.
