Job summary

AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, seeks an experienced RTO Consultant to join the Global Optimization group in Madrid. You will implement Real Time Optimization applications in refinery and petrochemical units, maintain installed base, and liaise with customers to ensure the project meets functional and quality standards.

The role requires a chemical process or control engineering background with 10+ years in optimization, fluent English, and familiarity with process simulation

Qualifications

• Chemical Process and/or Control Engineer with 10+ years in refinery/petrochemical optimization.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement Real Time Optimization (RTO) applications in refinery/petrochemical units.
• Maintain RTO applications and base installations.
• Interface with customers to define and agree requirements; ensure solution meets project standards.
• Review process diagrams and P&IDs and contribute to process discussions.
