Job summary

IQVIA in Spain seeks a Senior Medical Director to provide strategic medical and scientific leadership in their Rheumatology portfolio across the R&D lifecycle. You will influence early customer engagement, guide proposal development, and act as a medical director and subject matter expert in clinical trials and customer solutions.

Candidates should have MD with Rheumatology board certification, 10+ years in pharma/CRO, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Requires exceptional business knowledge to drive results and provide thought leadership.
• At least 5 years in pharma or CRO with Rheumatology expertise.

Responsibilities

• Work independently of the therapeutic area head.
• Demonstrate independence in strategic proposal development with the proposal team.
• Lead client proposal bid defense meetings as leader and SME.
• Act as consultant throughout R&D life cycle and clinical trials.
• Formulate clinical development plans and lead Center of Excellence strategy.
