Techteamz is seeking an experienced RF Subsystems Engineer to design, develop and validate communication subsystems for advanced nanosatellite missions in Spain. The role covers the full RF lifecycle—from link budgets and architecture definition to hardware integration and HIL testing.

You will work with teams to define end-to-end RF architectures, optimise performance, evaluate components and support over-the-air validation.

Formación

• 5+ years of RF engineering experience in satellite/space applications.
• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on with UHF, S-band and/or X-band systems.
• Experience with CST/ADS/HFSS and related tools.
• Knowledge of spectrum analysers, VNAs and RF test gear.
• Familiar with GMSK, QPSK, 8PSK, DVB-S2 schemes.
• Understanding CSP/CCSDS protocols.
• RF payload, DSP or sensing experience is advantageous.
• ECSS standards and space-grade RF qualification awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Define end-to-end RF subsystem architectures.
• Perform link budget analysis, RF chain modelling and optimization.
• Design and integrate RF front-end across UHF/S-band/X-band.
• Define subsystem requirements and interfaces with systems/payload teams.
• Support integration, verification and validation including HIL and OTA testing.
• Evaluate RF components, technologies and suppliers.
• Explore onboard signal processing and data reduction for RF payloads.
• Assess RF sensing concepts, including detection, classification and geolocation.
