TechTeamz in Ibiza is seeking an experienced RF Subsystems Engineer to design, develop, and validate communication subsystems for advanced nanosatellite missions. You will hands-on manage the full RF lifecycle—from link budgets and architecture to hardware integration, HIL testing, and over-the-air validation.

Formación

  • 5+ years of RF engineering in satellite/space applications.
  • MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with UHF, S-band and/or X-band systems.
  • Experience with CST, ADS, HFSS or similar tools.
  • Familiar with spectrum analysers and RF test equipment.

Responsabilidades

  • Define end-to-end RF subsystem architectures.
  • Perform link budget analysis and RF chain modelling.
  • Design and integrate RF front-ends across UHF/VHF, S-band and X-band.
  • Define subsystem requirements and interfaces with systems teams.
  • Support integration, verification and validation, including HIL/OTA testing.
  • Evaluate RF components, technologies and suppliers.
  • Explore onboard signal processing and data reduction for RF payloads.
  • Assess RF sensing concepts like detection and geolocation.
