ICEYE in Valencia, Spain seeks an RF AIT Engineer to lead RF integration, verification, and validation for the satellite constellation. You will coordinate RF hardware with avionics, power, and thermal subsystems, build automated test scripts in Python, and act as the main RF contact on the production floor.

You will ensure signal integrity, perform link budget analyses, and drive testability and manufacturability in collaboration with engineering teams.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in integration, testing, or production of complex RF or microwave systems.
• Proficiency with high‑end RF test equipment including VNAs and Spectrum Analyzers.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting and automation for test development and data analysis.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments with a focus on system‑level validation.
• Deep understanding of satellite communication subsystems and RF payload interfaces.
• Systems engineering mindset — anticipate integration risks and connect RF performance with mission operations.
• Proficient English (written and spoken) for cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Execute assembly, integration, and testing of RF subsystems (transmitters, antennas, RF modules).
• Perform RF validation campaigns focusing on antenna patterns, signal integrity, and link budget verification.
• Lead integration of RF hardware with other satellite subsystems (avionics, power, thermal).
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks in Python.
• Act as primary technical contact for RF integration issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Review, update, and validate RF work instructions, travelers, and test procedures.
• Support production readiness and design reviews (PRR, CDR) with RF feedback.
