Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Research Associate to provide scientific leadership within project teams, leading authoring of client deliverables such as study protocols, final reports, literature reviews, and manuscripts.

You will manage project work plans, timelines, and budgets, coordinate with research scientists, and mentor junior staff while interacting with clients face-to-face and via teleconference.

Qualifications

• Able to oversee large project portfolios by scope and dollars.
• Strong grasp of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Proven ability to work well in diverse project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal scientific communication, publications and reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and manuscripts.
• Conceptually connect tasks to achieve overall scientific goals.
• Design analysis plans from qualitative data for client submission.
• Identify staff resources and provide direction to teams.
• Manage internal timelines to meet client deadlines.
• Control internal budget and staff hours per project within contracted budget.
• Lead, review, and finalize project proposals, including budget.
• Attend and present at scientific conferences.
• Develop and present internal scientific trainings.
• Participate in staff recruitment activities.
• Support Principal Investigators in preparing clients for regulatory meetings.
