Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to oversee investments and portfolio management for renewable energy assets, including onshore wind, solar, and BESS projects. The position is based in Madrid and involves coordinating with investors, lenders, and service providers to optimize asset value.

Responsibilities include asset performance, financial oversight, and due diligence for acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in renewable energy asset management, operations, or a similar role.
• Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business; MBA is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of solar PV and renewable energy asset operations.
• Experience with utility-scale BESS assets is an advantage.
• Solid commercial, financial, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-motivated team player with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall performance of operating renewable energy assets.
• Monitor financial, operational, and contractual obligations to ensure optimal asset value.
• Lead relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, off-takers, and service providers.
• Collaborate with O&M teams to ensure operational excellence, HSE compliance, and contract performance.
• Drive performance improvements through KPI monitoring, best practices, and process enhancements.
• Manage asset budgets, P&L performance, reporting requirements, and support audits.
• Assist with asset acquisitions, due diligence activities, and the integration of new projects into the portfolio.
