Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop simulation software for the Embedded Training Solution of the SAETA 2 aircraft trainer and to support the SAETA 2 simulators.

The role requires mastery of C++ in real-time environments, experience with regulated development lifecycles, and the ability to work across hardware-in-the-loop and VR training devices. Willingness to travel about one week every two months.

Formación

• 10+ years of software development experience in aerospace/embedded systems.
• Expert C++ programming focusing on memory management, concurrency and performance.
• Software engineering mastery in design patterns and architecture.
• Experience with AQAP/DO-178C or similar formal methodologies.
• Testing expertise and V-Model development lifecycle.
• Experience integrating software into complex simulators or avionics.
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Conan, and Makefiles.
• Willingness to travel about one week every two months.

Responsabilidades

• Develop simulation software for Embedded Training Solution of the SAETA 2 aircraft trainer.
• Support the development and operation of the SAETA 2 Simulators.
• Support the design, development and deployment of Ground Based Training System devices, including VR training.
• Collaborate on feasibility studies for new features to optimize pilot trainings.
