Ardora III‑V in Spain is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality engineering across process development, manufacturing, supplier management and customer engagement. You will investigate failures, implement corrective actions and ensure products meet customer requirements.

The role combines hands-on quality work with cross-functional collaboration in a semiconductor environment, mentoring junior staff and driving improvements to yield and process reliability.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering roles within semiconductor manufacturing, photonics, microelectronics or a related advanced technology environment.
• Strong understanding of QC/QA concepts for semiconductor fabrication processes.
• Experience with quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, CAPA, MSA, SPC).
• Experience managing non-conformances, process excursions, change control and corrective actions.
• Experience with external service providers, technology partners, suppliers and customers.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing, reliability and quality data and translate findings into actions.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Commitment to developing junior staff and fostering knowledge sharing.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and maintain quality and control plans, inspection strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor key quality metrics, process capability, yield, reliability and customer quality performance.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods, including root cause analysis, 8D, FMEA, SPC, CAPA and corrective and preventive action management.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, excursions and process deviations.
• Work with process, product, operations and supply chain teams to identify and reduce product and process risks and improve performance and yield.
• Support new product introduction, process qualification and technology transfer activities.
• Define and manage quality requirements for service partners, suppliers and external manufacturing organisations.
• Support supplier, customer, internal and accreditation audits.
• Mentor and train engineers and technicians on quality control mechanisms and best practices.
• Communicate technical findings clearly in English to stakeholders at all levels, including technical reports and presentations.

What will you do with us?

In this role as Senior Quality Engineer, you will lead quality engineering activities across process development, manufacturing, supplier management and customer engagement, helping to build a robust, scalable and continuously improving quality framework. You will investigate failures, implement corrective quality mechanisms and make sure that our products meet customer requirements.

The role will combine hands-on expertise with cross-functional collaboration in a semiconductor production environment and external engagement with service providers and customers.

Key Functions

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our Quality team at Ardora and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality semiconductor products. The successful candidate will combine strong expertise in semiconductor quality engineering with a pragmatic mindset and passion for semiconductor device fabrication. The role requires strong communication skills working across technical and operational teams, using data-driven methods to identify risk, solve complex problems and improve product and process performance.

Technical Expertise

• At least 5 years of experience in quality engineering roles within semiconductor manufacturing, photonics, microelectronics or a related advanced technology environment.


• Strong understanding of quality control and assurance concepts for semiconductor fabrication processes.


• Practical experience with quality tools and methodologies, including FMEA, CAPA, MSA, and SPC.


• Experience managing non-conformances, process excursions, change control and corrective actions.


• Experience working with external service providers, technology partners, suppliers and customers.


• Ability to interpret manufacturing, reliability and quality data and translate findings into effective actions.


• Strong project management, organisation and prioritisation skills.


• Highly self‑motivated and proactively solving problems, with a track record of driving improvements and delivering results.


• Commitment to developing junior staff and fostering a knowledge‑sharing environment.


• Inclusive attitude with strong interpersonal and cross‑functional communication skills

• High proficiency in English (verbal and written) for technical communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
