Senior QA Engineer – SaaS

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer who thrives in an Agile, fast-moving SaaS environment?

Do you enjoy taking ownership, driving automation, and improving quality processes from within?

Our client, a global technology platform driving innovation in IT and data intelligence, is expanding its Quality Engineering team and is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help shape the next generation of scalable, high-performing SaaS solutions.

The Opportunity

You will join a cross-functional engineering team, collaborating daily with developers and product owners. As a hands-on QA Engineer, you will lead automation strategy, embed quality throughout the development cycle, and help evolve the client’s quality culture.

This is a role for someone who loves to experiment, automate, and improve, not just test. You will have the freedom to innovate, mentor others, and propose process enhancements that make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

• Define, develop, and maintain automated test suites (Cypress, Playwright)
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality is embedded from the start
• Manage bug triage and ensure full coverage across user stories
• Analyse complex SaaS architectures (microservices, MongoDB, Clickhouse) to identify risks
• Lead initiatives to improve tooling, frameworks, and test efficiency
• Act as a QA advocate, mentoring peers and championing best practices

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years’ QA or Automation experience in SaaS or microservices environments
• Strong JavaScript skills with exposure to C# or Java
• Proven experience with Cypress or Playwright for automation
• Solid understanding of CI / CD and Agile methodologies
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
• Autonomous, proactive mindset with strong ownership and initiative

Preferred

Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB, Clickhouse) and mentoring or QA leadership exposure.
