LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group in Málaga is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead automation within the Gaming Experience Team. You will design, implement, and scale automated test suites for web and mobile, and own quality across our next-generation product roadmap.

You will work closely with frontend, backend, and QA engineers to drive end-to-end testing, maintain CI pipelines with GitHub Actions, and apply Playwright and BDD concepts to raise our testing standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with a primary focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for automation framework development.
• Proven proficiency with browser automation frameworks such as Playwright.
• Strong experience in API testing (Postman, REST APIs) and BDD concepts (Cucumber).
• Practical experience integrating automated test execution into GitHub Actions or similar CI workflows.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with expertise in automation and continuous integration to join our Gaming Experience Team based in our Málaga tech hub. This 10–15 person cross-functional team, including frontend developers, backend developers and QA Engineers, focuses on delivering customer-facing features improving gaming experience, making it easier for users to find games that they are interested in.

In this role, you will play a critical part in building, maintaining, and scaling our automated test frameworks. Following our recent major casino platform enhancements, you will take ownership of quality assurance across our next-generation product roadmap—focusing on navigational flows, search performance, and custom player engagement and retention tools. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to drive end-to-end testing efficiency, maintain robust CI pipelines, and establish quality standards across our platform.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable automated test suites for web and mobile platforms.
• Integrating automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborating closely with Frontend and Backend Engineers to support seamless API integrations and optimize gaming platform performance.
• Defining test strategies, coverage plans, and automation frameworks using Playwright and BDD concepts.
• Performing API testing, debugging, and continuous validation using tools like Postman.
• Acting as a quality champion within the team—mentoring colleagues and elevating automated testing practices.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Experience with mobile app and Web testing.
• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with a primary focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for automation framework development.
• Proven proficiency with browser automation frameworks such as Playwright.
• Strong experience in API testing (Postman, REST APIs) and BDD concepts (Cucumber).
• Practical experience integrating automated test execution into GitHub Actions or similar CI workflows.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with mobile app automation (Appium for iOS and Android)
• Prior experience in iGaming, Fintech, or high-traffic consumer web environments.
• Familiarity with additional automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Java or JavaScript with Karate or REST Assured).
