Capitole está buscando un Senior QA Automation Engineer para unirse a un equipo tecnológico que desarrolla soluciones para el sector utilities. Garantizarás la calidad, rendimiento y escalabilidad mediante pruebas funcionales, automatizadas, API/UI y CI/CD en un entorno Agile.

Trabajarás con Playwright y TypeScript, diseñando estrategias de pruebas, manteniendo marcos de automatización y gestionando pipelines en Azure DevOps.

Formación

• 4+ años de experiencia en pruebas de software y QA.
• Experiencia sólida en automatización de pruebas.
• Conocimientos de pruebas de APIs y UI.
• Experiencia con CI/CD y Git/Azure DevOps.
• Conocimientos de Kafka o RabbitMQ es un plus.
• Certificación ISTQB es un plus.
• Inglés profesional (C1) obligatorio.

Responsabilidades

• Definir y ejecutar estrategias, escenarios y planes de pruebas funcionales y técnicas.
• Diseñar, mantener y ejecutar pruebas automatizadas para APIs y UI.
• Desarrollar marcos de automatización con Playwright y TypeScript.
• Integrar pruebas automatizadas en pipelines CI/CD.
• Gestionar planes de prueba, ejecución y trazabilidad de defectos.

Senior QA Automation Engineer | Relocation to Alicante Capitole castro, castilla león, es

Descripción del trabajo We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a technology team working on digital solutions for the utilities sector. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and scalability of software solutions, combining functional testing, test automation, API and UI testing, and CI/CD integration within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute functional and technical test strategies, scenarios, and test plans.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated tests for APIs and user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support Continuous Testing and secure deployments.
• Manage test plans, test execution, defect tracking, and test coverage using Azure DevOps.
• Analyse test results and collaborate with Development, DevOps, Platform, Architecture, and Product teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Contribute to test environment and test data management.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Refinement, and PI Planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation practices, quality metrics, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of asynchronous architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6 is a plus.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Professional English (C1) is mandatory.

Location & Work Model

• This position is based in Alicante, Spain. We are looking for candidates who currently live in Alicante or are open to relocating.
• Hybrid work model: During the first 2 months: 2 days at the office / 3 days remote per week. From the third month onwards: 1 day at the office / 4 days remote per week.
