Verisure in Alicante is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to drive quality at scale for our new Technology Hub. You will design and scale automated testing frameworks across UI and API, and work within Agile teams to ensure release readiness.

You should have 5+ years in QA automation, experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cucumber, RestAssured, and scripting in JS/Java/Python. Fluent English and Spanish are required.

QA Automation Engineer – Alicante (New Tech Hub)

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to drive quality at scale and help build reliable, high-performing products across our IT Sales, Alliances & Marketing domain.

Work model: Hybrid (3 days in the office)

What you’ll do

• Design and scale automated testing frameworks (UI, API, non-functional)
• Work with tools like Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cucumber, RestAssured, K6, Jenkins
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering & QA in Agile teams
• Define test strategies, ensure release readiness & manage risks
• Promote quality-by-design across the development lifecycle
• Leverage AI tools (e.g. Copilot) to improve testing efficiency

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in QA Automation
• Strong experience in UI automation, API testing & CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of test strategy, quality practices & Agile environments
• Experience with scripting/programming (JS, Java, Python or similar)
• Fluent in English and Spanish

Nice to have: Experience applying AI in testing or scaling automation practices

• Key role in a brand-new tech hub
