UST is a multinational technology services leader seeking a Senior Python Engineer in Spain (Galicia) with at least 6 years of experience developing enterprise applications. You will design, develop, and maintain Python-based solutions, optimize Oracle databases, and drive batch processing with Control-M while collaborating with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical plans.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer with at least 6 years of experience developing enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of driving projects from requirements gathering to successful delivery.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Python.
• Manage and optimize Oracle databases and data-related processes.
• Implement and monitor batch processing solutions using Control-M.
• Develop and maintain messaging solutions based on Apache Kafka.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive solution design, planning, and delivery of technology projects.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure successful execution of deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technology decision-making processes.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Senior-level experience in Python development (6+ years ).
• Strong experience in Database Management .
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database (5-6+ years ).
• Experience with Control-M and batch processing environments.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and messaging systems.
• Experience managing and coordinating technology projects.
