UST is seeking an Application Owner / Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain business-critical Python-based applications in a banking client project. You will work in a hybrid Madrid setup (3 days in office, 2 WFH) with cross-team collaboration across business, dev, infra, and vendors.

Key requirements include Python with Django, Linux operations, and strong SQL (Oracle/Trino). REST API, SSO/RBAC, and NGINX/Gunicorn skills are highly valued.

• Proven Python and Django development experience.
• Linux-based deployment and operations.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle and Trino.
• Experience designing and maintaining business-critical applications.
• Excellent communication and cross-team coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary contact for an application that manages risk data, runs controls, and reports results.
• Plan and manage the full application lifecycle across stakeholders, dev, infra, and vendors.
• Ensure applications meet business needs, standards, and reliable service levels.
• Ensure environments comply with security, audit, and industry standards.
