UST España & Latam is seeking an Applications Owner / Python Developer to design, develop, and support business-critical Python-based applications in a banking client project. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, strong Django skills, and Linux operations.

You will bridge business stakeholders with development and infrastructure teams, ensuring security, performance, and compliance across environments in a hybrid Madrid setting.

Formación

• Linux-based application operations and deployment.
• Strong Python development skills with Django.
• Experience with SQL and enterprise databases (Oracle and Trino).
• Experience with background processing and caching technologies (Celery and Redis).
• Experience with Git-based development and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary point of contact for an application which manages risk and control data, executes controls, and reports results.
• Plan and manage the application lifecycle, bridging business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure applications meet business requirements and standards.
• Ensure environments follow security, audit requirements, and industry standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned applications.
• Manage lifecycle including enhancements, upgrades, decommissioning.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, and compliance.
