Oxigent Technologies in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-performance marketing tech team. You will design and maintain backend services and microservices using Python, integrate with external advertising platforms, and work on automation initiatives.

You will collaborate with Data/AI engineers, work with AWS and SQL, and contribute to a lightweight UI/dashboard using TypeScript/React.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Backend software engineering.
• Strong Python for services, microservices, and automation scripts.
• Experience consuming, designing, and securing REST APIs with third-party platforms.
• Cloud environments (AWS) and SQL database design/queries.
• Frontend basics (TypeScript/React) for simple dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, microservices, and REST API calls using Python.
• Develop automation scripts to connect internal tools and orchestrate campaigns.
• Integrate project logic with AWS and perform SQL queries/design.
• Create a lightweight UI/dashboard to visualize automation flow.
• Collaborate with Data and AI engineers and challenge architecture decisions.
