What is my mission? 👩 💻👨 💻
Your core mission will be to lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of our first commercial-scale plant over the next 18 to 24 months — a critical step on our journey to decarbonize the transportation industry.
You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across Business, Operations, R&D, and Engineering to ensure alignment, efficiency, and successful execution.
While this is not a hands‑on technical role, a technical background in industrial or energy-related projects will be a strong advantage, helping you better navigate the complexity of our ecosystem.
Responsibilities 📌
- Take full ownership of scale‑up projects, ensuring on‑time delivery and adherence to budget.
- Demonstrate strong coordination skills across Operations, Engineering, R&D, and external stakeholders.
- Manage infrastructure and logistics projects at our demonstration plant and field locations, from initiation through to completion.
- Define and communicate project objectives, develop detailed schedules, manage contractors, vendors, and third parties, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Collaborate on the delivery of technical commercial projects through all phases — Planning, Detailed Design, Tendering, Construction/Implementation, and Post‑Construction — ensuring efficient and timely execution.
- Contribute to the upgrade and optimisation of our existing pilot plant in Mallorca, Spain.
- Drive continuous improvement by shaping and enhancing organisational processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Oversee the process of obtaining and managing licenses and permits for industrial projects, coordinating with regulatory bodies and third‑party service providers supporting licensing, development, and construction.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and environmental standards throughout execution.

- In‑depth understanding of renewable energy concepts, market trends, and economics; knowledge of sustainability and oil & gas topics is highly valuable.
- Technical aptitude and/or eagerness to learn across mechanical, chemical, and process engineering, construction processes, and fuel production operations.
- Proficiency in project management tools, including budgeting, cost control, and time scheduling.
- Master’s degree or higher preferred.
- Has 5–10 years of proven experience in the design, implementation, and project management of process‑oriented systems (e.g., catalytic processes, oil refining, carbon capture, or similar).
- Strong track record in structuring, managing, and successfully delivering complex industrial projects from concept to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects through a tactical, step‑by‑step approach while maintaining focus on overall objectives.
- Solid understanding of renewable energy concepts, industry trends, and economic drivers.
- Experience managing and securing funding for projects through European Union programs.
