WeHunt is collaborating with a leading international Engineering and Construction company to recruit a Senior Project Engineer specializing in Constructability for major offshore and onshore energy projects.

Profile (F / M / D)
  • Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering coordination or construction interface roles within Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind, or major industrial projects.
  • Proven experience in constructability reviews, field engineering coordination, and multidisciplinary project integration.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering disciplines (mechanical, piping, structural, E&I).
  • Experience managing local and international contractors in engineering, construction, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Understanding of cost control, scheduling, fabrication drawings, and work orders.
  • Knowledge of international standards such as ATEX, DNV, IEC, and offshore regulations.
  • Fluent in English (minimum B2 level).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills in multicultural environments.
Main responsibilities
  • Act as the interface between engineering and construction teams, ensuring full technical alignment during project execution.
  • Lead constructability assessments throughout all project phases — from conceptual design and detailed engineering to construction and commissioning.
  • Ensure continuous integration of construction experience into design, procurement, and execution to reduce costs and improve schedules.
  • Coordinate and validate engineering changes arising from construction activities and manage documentation accordingly.
  • Review fabrication drawings, issue work orders, and ensure compliance with design requirements.
  • Liaise with the Head Office Engineering Department, Planning, Cost Control, and Client Representatives to ensure technical consistency and progress reporting.
  • Oversee local contractors during construction and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to project standards and safety requirements.
  • Conduct or support technical workshops and training sessions when required by the project.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards on site.
