An online language learning provider based in Madrid is seeking an experienced Product Manager/Producer to design engaging learning loops for children aged 6-14. This role involves leading a squad in developing multiplayer mechanics and collaborating with various teams to enhance user retention. The position is fully remote with a flexible schedule, offering competitive compensation and unlimited paid time off.
Novakid is a #1 online language learning brand for kids in Europe with over 1M students to date. We are now seeking an experienced Product Manager/Producer to build sticky, safe, and effective learning loops for kids 6–14.
Your mission.. Lead an independent squad to design and iterate casual-genre game loops inside the Novakid app, motivating kids to return and learn daily—think “Duolingo-style” engagement, purpose-built for young learners.
Stickiness & retention: Operate at Duolingo-class stickiness (DAU/MAU ~35–37%), with a plan to improve cohort retention quarter over quarter.
Velocity: 6–10 experiments/month, with published learnings and kill/scale decisions within 7 days.
Own the player/learner journey (focus on retention), core loop, meta, and in-app economy; build a rigorous experimentation pipeline.
Collaborate with the Learning PM/squad to incorporate learning activities into a user journey in a cohesive way.
Prototype multiplayer/social mechanics appropriate for ages 6-14 with safeguards and parental controls.
Partner with Design/Eng/Data/Art/QA to ship weekly; instrument everything; analyze cohorts; scale winners.
Expand the squad with new hires as needed.
Report to the Director of Product; operate during rapid MAU growth phases.
Senior PM/Producer track record in casual mobile games at scale aimed at young players; shipped loops that moved D7/D30, DAU/MAU.
Mastery of Mixpanel/PostHog/GA or similar; you can self-serve analyses and define instrumentation.
Experience with social/multiplayer mechanics, live-ops, and event-based engagement.
Familiarity with age-appropriate UX (6-14), and parent dashboards.
Proficiency with agile delivery and rapid prototyping (hyper-casual cadence).
EdTech or language-learning background; UGC moderation.
